A Reception to Remember

Last night's reception at The Mill was grand! Thanks to all those who came out for the event.

Beautiful guitar music provided by the gracious and generous Mark Malone set the ambience for the reception where friends, family, and collectors mingled to enjoy the photography and artwork Brian Carr and I had on the walls. It was such a delight talking with people about blue cats and finger painting, and I overheard conversations with Brian about his journeys to Italy and Hawaii to collect images that comprised his current show.

Ah. Still savoring the buoyant energy from the gathering. It heartens me to know that people will come from far and wide to celebrate beauty and friendship.

My humble thanks to Regina Carr, Brian's sister from Seattle, who came to help with the event, and to Brinton Everett of Sunflower Fields of Well Being, director of The Mill's gallery and healing spaces, for facilitating the show and reception. A pleasure, an honor, and a gift. Thank you.

Best always (and pictures when I get them!),

I.
